PPLI Berikan Perhatian Khusus Keluarga Karyawan Alami Kecelakaan Kerja

Sehubungan dengan insiden yang terjadi di lokasi Balam, Kelurahan Bangko Bakti  kemarin (24/02), PPLI saat ini dibantu oleh seluruh pemangku kepentingan sedang melakukan investigasi.

Karena peristiwa terjadi pada jam istirahat dimana seharusnya tidak ada jadwal kegiatan untuk berada dalam area kejadian, maka kami sedang mendalami latar belakang yang menyebabkan korban ke TKP sehingga insiden tersebut terjadi.

Untuk para pekerja PPLI yang meninggal dunia, atas nama jajaran direksi dan manajemen PPLI beserta seluruh karyawan, kami menyampaikan duka cita mendalam. Selanjutnya kami telah berkordinasi dan menyampaikan informasi tersebut kepada pihak keluarga, kami terus melakukan pendampingan terhadap keluarga dan telah menyiapkan santunan kepada keluarga almarhum.

PPLI juga mengurus proses pemulangan jenazah para korban hingga ke pemakaman serta tetap memberikan perhatian bila ada anak-anak almarhum yang butuh dukungan beasiswa pendidikan akan kami perhatikan.

Ini merupakan peristiwa yang belum pernah terjadi dalam sejarah PPLI, hampir 30 tahun sejak hadir di Indonesia beberapa kali perusahaan kami meraih predikat Zero Accident dalam hal kecelakaan kerja dari Kementerian Tenaga Kerja. Kami sangat berkomitmen untuk mencegah risiko kecelakaan kerja tersebut.

Karenanya, insiden yang terjadi di Balam merupakan pukulan bukan saja bagi keluarga korban tapi juga bagi perusahaan kami.

Investigasi ini penting bagi kami, agar bisa menjadi evaluasi dan perbaikan bila ada kesalahan yang timbul dalam prosedur maupun kekurangan kehati-hatian karyawan dalam aktivitas kerja.

On this website, we provide the latest information related to our services such as company profile, our treatment processes and transportation, and news to deliver the latest information related to PPLI business, waste management and environment. We provide our latest communication services through communication channels directly with our sales and customer services officer. We have also updated the organization structure of board of directors on this website. Hopefully through the website we can communicate our services and company profile even better.

We have updated the site with a sharp new look and feel, but we hope to add much more to the online experience than just aesthetics. We have also revamped our navigation to make it more intuitive. Artikel WEBINAR – Sosialisasi Festronik dalam Pengangkutan Limbah B3 pertama kali tampil pada PPLI.

In connection with the Covid-19 virus pandemic that occurred in Indonesia and globally, PT. Prasadha Pamunah Limbah Industri (PT. PPLI) intends to present an overview of responses to this matter. As the number of affected areas has expanded locally and globally, we have been working very closely with our health provider partners and subject matter experts to monitor the spread of the virus daily and take appropriate, responsible actions.

REDUCING EXPOSURE

Our key efforts to minimize exposure have been focused on defining risk-based levels to enable us to manage the related geographical risk and facilitate effective communications and management of crisis and emergency processes.

PPLI Covid-19 Risk Levels

Three levels have been defined to set company actions based on government advice (Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19) to help us minimize health risk while also minimizing business impact. These are:

We try to continue nomal operation under measurement of Social Distancing, except the case our employee is infected with Covid-19.

We continue operations in limited resources that might impact to waste collection schedule and waste receiving capacity.  In the case of our employee is infected with Covid-19, this would be placed under further review.

Artikel PT. PPLI Business Continuity Through Covid-19 Crisis pertama kali tampil pada PPLI.

Indonesia has a population of over 250 million people and has been growing economically which is also supporting foreign investment and infrastructure development. However, Indonesia only has a limited number of companies that are capable of treating the industrial and municipal hazardous waste. In particular, incinerators, only a few are capable of processing hazardous waste.

PT. PPLI has a final disposal facility known as landfill which has been designated as the only fully permitted final disposal of hazardous waste in Indonesia, and provides comprehensive waste treatment services including waste transportation, conversion of waste to energy (waste-to-energy), segregation and waste recycling, waste water treatment, and landfill.

Through an incinerator breakthrough, it is possible to eliminate hazardous toxic from materials that are not suitable for waste-to-energy or landfill technology. One of waste type that can be treated with incinerator technology is medical waste generated from health facilities such as doctors’ clinics, hospitals, dental practices, laboratories, medical research facilities, and animal clinics. Medical waste generated in Indonesia especially in big cities is a serious problem because the infectious content of waste must be handled properly.

In addition, the incinerator is a vertical stoker type, which has been operated in Singapore, which is also a subsidiary of DOWA ECO-SYSTEM CO., LTD since 2017, which has significantly reduced CO2 emissions during the incineration process compared to conventional incinerators.

By increasing the number of acceptable hazardous waste types, PT. PPLI will further strengthen its waste treatment services, by providing solutions to the challenges of managing the increasing amount of hazardous waste in line with economic growth in Indonesia with environmentally friendly waste treatment technologies.

About the New Incinerator

The incinerator to be built will be located in the main facility of PT. PPLI in Bogor, West Java. The plan is to operate in 2021 with the type of waste that can be treated is hazardous and non hazardous waste, both solid and liquid. The processing capacity is 50 tons / day.

Artikel PT. PPLI TO CONSTRUCT NEW INCINERATOR IN INDONESIA pertama kali tampil pada PPLI.

On the occasion, Deputy Minister of ESDM was accompanied by Deputy Head of SKK Migas, Sukandar, and Director General of Waste and Hazardous Waste (PSLB3) of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Vivien Ratnawati and echelon officials within the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, SKK Migas and KLHK.

PT. PPLI, President Director Nobuhiro Yasui and the board of directors of PPLI present to welcome the Deputy Minister of ESDM at PT. PPLI Training Center. A series of events, discussion and messages from each institution, this visit is filled with an explanation of PPLI’s business profile and site visit to directly sees integrated waste management facilities.

Arcandra Tahar said when giving a speech, want to see clearly how the hazardous waste is treated, what kind of waste can be disposed and the waste capacity that PPLI can receive. “I think seeing is believing. By looking directly at this facility, I can see that the waste generated mainly by the oil and gas industry are being managed properly,” Arcanda said during remarks (6/2). Waste from the oil and gas industry such as oil-contaminated soil or better known as COCS (Crude Oil Contaminated Soil) in Sumatra and surrounding areas, is produced in very large quantities. COCS handling solutions should be implemented immediately. An alternative solution is to build an on-site waste management facility close to the waste generator. Cooperation between ESDM and PT. PPLI is one solution that can be done by building together hazardous waste management facility.

Operational Director of PT. PPLI, Syarif Hidayat explained how the process flow of the waste receipt procedures starting from waste sampling until the waste transportation and final disposal is explained through presentation. “Procedures, landfill design, monitoring system and safety of waste transportation system also need to be explained. PPLI is ready if there will be a cooperation with ESDM to handle oil and gas industry waste with measured volume, “Syarif explained. The handling of hazardous waste especially in the industry needs serious handling with a well-planned cooperation. PT. PPLI fully supports the development of hazardous waste management facilities in other locations in Indonesia. (atp)

Artikel Observing Waste Management Facility, Arcandra Goes to PPLI pertama kali tampil pada PPLI.

During the visit and training, the PPLI Drilling Waste Management (DWM) team led by Bayu Setyawan as Head of Division presented the basic drilling operation, drilling waste management services and future’s innovative technology challenges in-line with PPLI commitment to reduce waste receiving. The participants were also attending workshop equipment training to directly physically see and run DWM drilling equipments owned by PPLI. Bayu said the main purpose of this training is to share knowledge and experience about drilling operation and its correlation with DWM services as well as to understand and sharing each country main service lines, develop group to share and potential joint services and technical assistance among the countries within DOWA group.

“Since the participants were mostly not coming from oil and gas background presenting oil and gas especially basic drilling operation had become new knowledge to all, and amazingly was revealed even though PPLI – DWM was formed since 2009 but some of PPLI’ participants were still unable to understand basic concept of DWM services, thus this first technical training has opened internal and overseas participant perceptions to have better understanding to strengthen “Drilling Waste Management Integrated Services” concept,” said Bayu. In the last three years oil and gas business has been experiencing in a crisis and declining global economic conditions with oil production flooding the market resulting very low oil price, companies engaged in this industry must find a way to survive with new innovation, one of them by developing advanced mobile treatment technology that capable massively reducing the amount of waste offsite disposal. The company agrees and move forward with new inventions, ideas, system to achieve waste minimization concept. Bayu said PPLI needs to transform business concept to offsite waste treatment into onsite solutions. “PPLI is to survive for another decades when onsite treatment technology is greatly enhanced as this will be key of future oil and gas nature business, efficient, cost based and prompt solution,” added Bayu.

Artikel PPLI Committed To Enhancing Onsite Treatment Innovation For Long Term Business Survival pertama kali tampil pada PPLI.

Blood donations are held for one day, employees and surrounding communities participate in action initiatives aimed at promoting a healthy and safe lifestyle. This action successfully involves 95 employees and 7 local community to donate blood in the PPLI Training Center.

“Spending our time for blood donation is a starting point that we can at least do for the soul and life with each other. PT. PPLI always advocates healthy living and security concerns in working and living in society, we also need to continue to engage PMI to promote this,” Nobuhiro Yasui, President Director of PT. PPLI in his statement in Klapanunggal, Thursday (25/1).

Elpido, Safety Health Environmental & Quality Manager of PT. PPLI and one of blood donor volunteers, added, it encourages everyone to donate blood if they can.

“There is no particular reason to do this, a small thing to help others in need should be enough motivation for all of us,” he said. (atp)

Artikel Commemorate The K3 Month, PPLI Holds Blood Donor pertama kali tampil pada PPLI.

The K3 Cerdas Cermat Quiz competition is the culmination of a series of activities that have been held to commemorate the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month 2018 which is served for one month from January 12, 2018 to February 12, 2018. In addition to the execution of the competition, the day’s activities are also filled by other competition such as hydrant hose rolling competition, best safety slogan contest, forklift operation contest, as well as blood donation activities.

The competition participants are employees of PT. PPLI from various departments. All the winners get interesting prizes and also certificates.

Delivered by the Chairman of PPLI K3 Celebration Committee Ihsan Rizqie on Thursday (25/1) that the safety slogan collected amounted to 166 from 90 employees, and will only be selected one that will be determined as the safety slogan of PT. PPLI for the following year. “We are happy and thank the employees who participated enliven the activities of K3 month in PPLI,” he said.

After the announcement and distribution of various prizes to the winners of the competition, the activity was continued with blood donation activity which since morning has been serving the employees and PPLI surrounding communities to donate. PT. PPLI cooperates with Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Sukabumi city in conducting this activity. (atp)
