Klapanunggal – To commemorate the Occupational Safety and Health Month (K3) which celebrated for 1 month from 12 January 2018 to 12 February 2018, PT. Prasadha Pamunah Limbah Industri (PPLI) held a blood donor program at the integrated waste management facility in Klapanunggal, Bogor, West Java. PT. PPLI took the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Sukabumi City to realize this action.
Blood donations are held for one day, employees and surrounding communities participate in action initiatives aimed at promoting a healthy and safe lifestyle. This action successfully involves 95 employees and 7 local community to donate blood in the PPLI Training Center.
“Spending our time for blood donation is a starting point that we can at least do for the soul and life with each other. PT. PPLI always advocates healthy living and security concerns in working and living in society, we also need to continue to engage PMI to promote this,” Nobuhiro Yasui, President Director of PT. PPLI in his statement in Klapanunggal, Thursday (25/1).
Elpido, Safety Health Environmental & Quality Manager of PT. PPLI and one of blood donor volunteers, added, it encourages everyone to donate blood if they can.
“There is no particular reason to do this, a small thing to help others in need should be enough motivation for all of us,” he said. (atp)
